Last year the Schoolbag for Kids Project in Bangladesh was a great success, only because of our supporters! The students, schools & International Homeroom thanks every single one of our supports for making last years goal a success! Giving out the schoolbags to the young students inspired them to stay in school, get a degree! This only helps them to avoid working and a child labor to clean streets, busboy in a restaurant, working in a brick yard, lumber yard, etc. Your donations helped keep these students to stay in school and focus on more important things! With this students focusing on a better education, it will increase them to think bigger and become someone they thought they never could become!
In the process of giving out schoolbags, International Homeroom provided all schools a free application to make request for anything they need to make the students learning process easier and to help better the schools itself. These forms were also provided to other local schools that were able to receive any schoolbags for their students. Below is list of all the schools that submitted those forms. Using our sources we're able to determine a cost in BDT. The US Dollar figures were estimated with the exchange rate of ৳83.50 for every US $1.00. The cost of simple things aren't that expensive to us in America, however this differs in the rural areas in Bangladesh. With you support, we can help make a difference to students and schools.
